Abstract

Study making bio-fermented caladium water to study the appropriate ratio of fermented water making. To study physical and chemical properties of bio-fermented caladium water. Study the efficiency of the bio-fermented caladium water. The study divide into 3 steps. Study the appropriate ratio of fermented water making by compare for 4 recipes: Recipe 1, 5 kilos of caladium: water 0 : molasses 0 : microorganism (EM) 0 , Recipe 2: 5 kilos of caladium: 10 liters of water : 100 milliliters of molasses : 50 milliliters of microorganism (EM) , Recipe 3 : 5 kilos of caladium : 15 liters of water : 100 milliliters of molasses and 50 milliliters of microorganism (EM), Recipe 4 : 5 kilos of caladium : 20 liters of water : 100 milliliters of molasses : and 50 milliliters of microorganism (EM). It’s found that bio-fermented caladium water in the Recipe 3 has appropriate ratio to make the fermented water. When study of the physical and chemical properties found that the bio-fermented water has brown and orange colors and a little bit sour-smelling but not turbid. When, takes it to efficiency test for insect pests repellent and applied to the soil maintenance, it found the plants that use bio-fermented caladium water to inject doesn’t have the insect pests bite and eat the plant leaves. The plant grow in the soil with bio-fermented caladium water is grow up better than the plant doesn’t grow without of bio-fermented caladium water.
