Abstract
Abstract The purposes of this research are: 1) to study the mechanism of planting rice with the Smart Rice Planting Machine, 2) to assist farmers in making the produce better, and 3) to reduce bone disease and leptospirosis in famers. The Smart Rice Planting Machine was created to help farmers who plants rice seedlings by hands, by using a radio transmitter remote. It can plants 4 rows of seedlings. By having the radio control unit sends signals to the receiver for processing, then send onto the servo motor to trigger the limit switch in order for the relay to supply electric currents into the gear motor for controlling the whole system of the Smart Rice Planting Machine. It can help to reduce human labor in planting as the Smart Rice Planting Machine requires only one person to control. When experimented by increasing the number of rice seedlings, discovered that 1 tray of rice seedlings takes 5 minutes to plant, 2 trays takes 9 minutes and 3 trays takes an average of 15 minutes.
